An article by Barak Ravid (Hebrew) discusses PM Netanyahu’s plan to rotate Likud ministers (in order to prevent bitterness) and argues that it sets the stage for a political and security mess.
The fact six different ministers will be responsible for overlapping areas without any clear distinctions between them is, according to Ravid, “a sure road to internal disputes, diplomatic mishaps and general inability to function.”
In addition, it’s difficult to see how the much needed consolidation of a new and comprehensive national security strategy, can be planned and implemented when so many ministers with different agendas and interests are responsible for this issue.
