Vision to Reality: The Reut Blog

During Pesach, we plan to update our community regarding developments in different areas of our work. Today’s focus is on the new Israeli government and the opportunities for promoting the Reut vision and mission.

The Netanyahu Government has taken office. My personal opinion has been that it is critically important for Israel to have a national unity government at this time when we face a confluence of economic and national security challenges of historical magnitude.

I am therefore very happy to see the Labor party come on board and hope that Kadima will follow suit.

The incoming government represents good news for the Reut Institute. We have good personal and professional relationships with many of the ministers, key appointments and senior staff. These relationships will allow us unprecedented access, at a time when we are pregnant with high-quality and relevant content in a number of key areas of policy.
