The Manufacturers Association in the south of Israel recently announced its intention to open first aid training courses. Acquiring basic skills such as first aid is an important step in implementing a culture of preparedness and can contribute to Israel’s national resilience.
In cooperation with Magen David Adom, the Manufacturers Association in the south of Israel plans to train ‘First Aid responders for Times of Crisis’. It was reported that during Operation Cast Lead, factories that prepared their emergency teams acted better and created a better sense of security among workers than those which made no such preparations.
The integration of the business sector is crucial for the implementation of a culture of preparedness in Israel and will contribute to the home front’s readiness in times of crisis, strengthen the sense of solidarity among different sectors in society and eventually built Israel’s national resilience.
