Vision to Reality: The Reut Blog

The Reut Institute’s political-security team launched Version A of its report analyzing the dynamics of a global campaign to delegitimize Israel and offering comprehensive principles to respond to the global threat.

The report is the culmination of a year-long knowledge-development process that began with assessing the changing reality and contrasting it with the prevalent mindset of decision makers and relevant stakeholders.

The report included consultation with more than 100 related experts. Reut founder Gidi Grinstein gave a brief powerpoint presentation about the project at the 10th annual Herzliya Conference in a panel entitled, “Winning the Battle of the Narrative: Getting the Message Out.” (see the video here - 1st Feb 2010, Chais Auditorium)

The executive summary of the English version is currently online. The full version will be published in the coming week.

Since the paper’s Feb. 1 launch, it has been the subject of an article by Barak Ravid in Haaretz “Think Tank: Israel faces global delegitimization campaign.”

Past reporting on this project includes an op-ed by Gidi Grinstein in Haaretz; op-eds Eran Shayshon in the Jerusalem Post and the Jewish Chronicle; as well as a feature in the Jerusalem Post and a mention in Newsweek.
