The Resilience Team participated last week in a forum of chairpersons and CEOs of the northern partnerships of ‘Partnerships 2000′ of the Jewish Agency. In the forum, held at the Western Galilee College in Acre, the team presented the concept of the ‘Civil Resilience Network.’ The concept calls to consolidate a resilience network, comprising tens of thousands of units that are committed to improving local and national resilience, and possess the necessary capacities and resources to act. In addition, the team presented guidelines for implementing a ‘culture of preparedness’ within the partnerships, based on accumulated knowledge from the Second Lebanon War.
In the meeting, the representatives agreed that consolidating a resilience network can be a part of the core activities of ‘Partnership 2000.’ It was also agreed that they can mobilize the partner communities today, and that the local resilience network can provide added value to the partnerships in other areas, such as cultivating volunteer resources.
We at the Reut Institute see Partnership 2000 as a major catalyst in consolidating the civil resilience network, thanks to the partnerships’ unique activity in bringing together Jewish communities worldwide and Israeli communities during times of peace and times of crisis.

Completely understand what your stance in this matter. Although I would disagree on some of the finer details, I think you did an awesome job explaining it. Sure beats having to research it on my own. Thanks
Thank you Robbin,
I would be happy to hear about the fine details you disagree on.
